In my many travels, to and fro thy city streets via my cab as I cruise up and down yonde r. ... I
...I am struck time and again by the hurry, hurry dramatics of my fellow drivers.
Maybe I'm just a little too sensitive to the absolutely abrupt, inconsiderate, aggressive, wreckless, lacking any signs whatsoever of civility, let alone common courtesy coming from these type (I) I being short for Idiot drivers.
I mean my God, not only did most of them get their license out of a cracker jack box, but I think quite possibly a few of them decided to forfeit instruction in light of their suppose belief as reflected in this statement: "I got this". Well, I'd like to say - I do-n't think so!
Here is a few examples:
I Raoul am going just a few miles over the posted speed limit [55] on the expressway, at night, and in the far right lane when out of nowhere this monstrous pick-up truck starts to close in on me. Well, I immediately depress the hazard button on my dash and slow down. Now you would think that this action might prompt dude to get the ---- over, change lanes or whatever. But...
no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Idiotman is still tailgating me...still. Unbelievable! WTF in angst I completely slow down almost to a stop, and only then does this ___hole go around, but not without blowing his horn. I reciprocate and in addition, give him the middle finger whilst screaming profanities too.
How about you as a driver rightfully in line, in rush hour traffic minding your own business. Then, lo and behold..this complete idiot comes darting in front of you with total abandon. UGH!
Or what about just plain common courtesy issues where it's not always tangible in what to do.
Well, in these cases I just say to myself "the first shall be last, and the last shall be first...hummm, I wonder, does this also extend to those who laugh last? In any event, it's not always the survival of the fittest mentality that wins out. It's not even the smartest, but the wisest that truly gains my vote here.
So, I am slowly learning the ways of Yoda to be implemented as I turtle my taxi to - n - fro wherever I go. Because, in rememberance, it's not the rabbit that wins the race.

Is it just me?
I don't know, but I have observed in my travels as a taxi driver which somewhat qualifies me at least in one respect. First, I have over 27 years of driving under my belt. Second, the frequencies of my visits to myriad establishment(business) which leads me to the theme of my frustration.
Employees talking on their tely-phones whilst at thy register -UGH!
I really ..really...really ABHOR this absolute rudeness.
For one, talking on thee tely sends a negative impression to the customer, namely me, that you could care less about the old, but tried and true concept. "CUSTOMERS COME FIRST'
Moreover, can one truly say that in multi-tasking or juggling money and managing a tely will not lead to coming up short on the til at the end of said employee's shift? I think, and oftentimes it will.
In addition, being on the tely, distracts the idiot employee from the ongoing operation(s) of the store.
In conclusion, I Raoul propose a simple solution...
...to be presented to all owners of said establishments of convience stores...
...TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES SIR, TO...STAY THE FREAK OFF THE FONE!!!

Overexposed?...
I really don't know, but I do see the diluting down of the presidency. In the many appearances President Obama just made recently on the networks. Well, to analogize it, you have what the cultured call "High Art", which is e.g., the paintings of Da Vinci particularly Mona Lisa. Okay, now here comes this great Russian artist Andy Warhal with his Post-Mondernism-Pop-Art. he manages to mass produce Mona Lisa on Campell soup cans for the consumer society. Okay, cool! However, something else has taken place - not so cool. Mona Lisa has become so homogenized, that the very aesthetics of the absolute mysterious nature of this (still) world-viewed photograph is all but gone. Thus, the President may want to cut back on some of his appearances, for the sake of exposure. That is all...for now, stay tune!
